NEW YORK CITY - The MTA held a meeting on Monday regarding the rollout of OMNY, the new payment system for the NYC transit agency that will eventually replace MetroCards entirely.
OMNY is expected to be installed by late 2023 to early 2024. Transfers are available upon request with coins, and are included automatically with MetroCard. The transfers are valid for two hours and can be used on two connecting NICE bus routes; no round-trips nor stopovers.
