If you're running into this problem, you might want to log in to your account via the "forgot password" thing and see if there's a place where you need to authorize Chase to have permission to use your phone number for 2FA. I tried looking around for it and couldn't find anything like that, but the option could be there.
No. The Chase system, or possibly just my account is just jacked up somehow. I’ll call eventually and sort it out. Was just curious if this is common with Chase online banking or may just be a bug on my account. I suspect it’s a bug on my account. Perhaps having something to do with it being an old account that hasn’t been used for 12 years.
