Geneviève Alison Jane Moyet MBE (/ ˈ m ɔɪ. eɪ / MOY-ay), formerly known as Alf, (born 18 June 1961) [1] is an English singer noted for her powerful bluesy contralto voice. She came to prominence as half of the synth-pop duo Yazoo (known as Yaz in North America), but has since mainly worked as a solo artist.
At Mount Allison, he was a two time all conference player (1996-1997), and voted on the second All Canadian team in 1997. He also earned the 1997 Atlantic Conference Best defensive player award, losing the President's trophy (CIAU defensive player of the year award) to Jason Van Geel of the University of Waterloo.
Among other roles in Sackville, he was chair of the classical concert touring organization Debut Atlantic, founded Windsor Theatre and the Mount Allison Drama Program, and was the founding chair of Live Bait Theatre. He died in Sackville in 2011. Personal life. He was married to and later divorced Janet Speid. They had two children.
The Mount Pleasant Caldera is a large eroded Late Devonian volcanic caldera complex, located in the northern Appalachian Mountains of southwestern New Brunswick, Canada.It is one of few noticeable pre-Cenozoic calderas, and its formation is associated to a period of crustal thinning that followed the Acadian orogeny in the northern Appalachian Mountains.
