For the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon, there will be private and dedicated lactation spaces that provide pumping accommodations and amenities in the start village and finish lines and along the marathon course at miles 8, 17, and 22.
The information below outlines time qualifier standards for guaranteed entry to the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. The qualifying window is January 1 through December 31, 2024. All times run must be at least as fast as the posted time. Net (chip) time, not gun time, will be evaluated.
One of the most popular ways to get a TCS New York City Marathon entry is through NYRR’s 9+1 program: Run nine NYRR qualifying races and volunteer at one event within a calendar year, have an NYRR membership by the end of the year, and run the marathon the following year with guaranteed entry.
For the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon, there will be dedicated lactation spaces that provide pumping accommodations and amenities at the start village. Medela breast pumps will also be available, giving participants easy options for pumping.
Runners who do not have guaranteed entry to the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon can apply to the non-guaranteed general entry drawing during the application period (dates TBD), and the drawing for these entries will take place following the application period.
