The Bronx (/ b r ɒ ŋ k s /) is a borough of New York City, coextensive with Bronx County, in the U.S. state of New York.It is south of Westchester County; north and east of the New York City borough of Manhattan, across the Harlem River; and north of the New York City borough of Queens, across the East River.
The Walk of Fame runs 1.3 miles (2.1 km) from east to west on Hollywood Boulevard, from Gower Street to the Hollywood and La Brea Gateway at La Brea Avenue in addition to a short segment on Marshfield Way that runs diagonally between Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea; and 0.4 miles (0.64 km) north to south on Vine Street between Yucca Street and Sunset Boulevard.
The western elevation is divided into four vertical tiers. From bottom to top, they are the ground-level portals, on the first tier; the gallery level, on the second tier; the large rose window and several smaller grisaille and lancet windows , on the third tier; and the top of the south tower and the gable above the center bay, on the fourth tier.
