Kobe Bean Bryant (/ ˈ k oʊ b i / KOH-bee; August 23, 1978 – January 26, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. A shooting guard, he spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

At the same time, Bryant contributed largely to the newspapers, and was a frequent speaker at the women's clubs of Boston. For three years, she held leading roles in the annual French plays of the university.

Edwin Bryant received his Ph.D in Indic languages and Cultures from Columbia University in 1997 with a dissertation on the "Indigenous Aryans Debate". He taught Hinduism at Harvard University for three years, and is presently professor of Religions of India at Rutgers University where he teaches courses on Hindu philosophy and religion. [2]
Bryant started his college career with Elon University, where he averaged 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game in his freshman year. [3] Bryant was named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year and earned a spot in the Third-team All-CAA and CAA All-Rookie Team. [4]
