[1][2] A Platinum Label marathon, it was the fifth of six World Marathon Majors events that were held in 2023. [3][4][5] The race also hosted the age group world championships for the year. [6][7]
The 2007 Chicago Marathon final 200 meters was a duel between Patrick Ivuti (right) & Jaouad Gharib (left). Galen Rupp. Galen Rupp (born May 8, 1986) [ 1 ] is an American long-distance runner. He competed in the Summer Olympics in 2008 in Beijing, 2012 in London, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro and 2021 in Tokyo. He won the silver medal in the men's 10,000 meters in London and the bronze medal in the men's marathon in Rio de Janeiro.
