x. AOL works best with the latest versions of the browsers. You're using an outdated or unsupported browser and some AOL features may not work properly.
Use Sign-in Helper, AOL's password reset and account recovery tool, to get back in to your account. Go to the Sign-in Helper. Enter one of the account recovery items listed. Click Continue. Follow the instructions given in the Sign-in Helper. Change your password. From a desktop or mobile web browser: Sign in to the AOL Account security page.
Use Autofill to save your username, password, and other info. Use Autofill to automatically fill in forms, usernames, and passwords on AOL. If you're using a mobile browser, contact your mobile device manufacturer for help with its Autofill settings.

If you previously entered an email address when signing up for the account or in your Preferences, and you still have access to that email account, and you did not tick the preference checkbox "Send password reset emails only when both email address and username are provided", then you can go to the login screen and click 'Reset your password'.

If this isn’t successful, use webmail or the official AOL App to access your email. Customer care can’t override this process of determining App Password creation eligibility. Sign in to your AOL Account Security page. Click Generate app password or Generate and manage app passwords. Click Get Started. Enter your app's name in the text field.
