The UAE education system is divided into four tiers: Kindergarten: KG 1 and KG 2 – 4–5 years old. Primary School: Grade 1–6 – 6–11 years old. Preparatory Stage: Grade 7–9 – 12–14 years old. Secondary School: Grade 10–12 – 15–17 years old.
These are the universities' rankings in 2019 according to THE (Times Higher Education) [10] and in 2020 according to QS (Quacquarelli Symonds). [11] Definitions of categories used for measurement of both THE and QS are missing. It would be helpful if the UAE provided its own rankings according to its own measurement system.
