The channel started broadcasts on 23 August 1958 [1] with the inaugural edition of Dnevnik, until 31 December 1971 it was RTB's only channel.With the dissolution of Yugoslavia, it adopted the name RTS1, with the merger of the transmitters employed by RTB, RTNS and RTP.
