Creating a user account means that you supply a username (your real name or a nickname) and a password.The system will reject a username that is already in use. A user account is created only once.
Go to the Sign-In Helper. Sign in and go to the AOL Account Security page. Turn off Security Key 2-Step Verification. When you get your Security Key back or get a new key, you can re-enable 2-Step Verification in your Account Security settings.
Sometimes the old "turn it off and on again" actually works. In this case, try completely signing out of your account then sign back in. Many times, this will help, especially in cases of bad passwords or some simple browser issues.
Select Mail Settings. On the general settings tab, in inbox setting click the radial button next to Use Unified Inbox Style. Click Save Settings at the bottom.
