The GE Genesis (officially trademarked GENESIS [5]) is a series of passenger diesel locomotives built by GE Transportation for Amtrak, Metro-North, and Via Rail between 1992 and 2001.

Peekskill station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line, located in Peekskill, New York. The former station building built by the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad in 1874 [ 3 ] still stands, although it is no longer staffed.
Cannondale station is a commuter rail station on the Danbury Branch of the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, located in the Cannondale neighborhood of Wilton, Connecticut. The station building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 as part of the Cannondale Historic District .
They ran on the New Haven Line (then part of Penn Central, now a part of Metro-North) for most of their service life. The M4s and M6s were retired by Metro-North in 2015, followed by the last M2s in 2018. They have been largely replaced by new M8 railcars. One pair of M2s has been preserved at the Danbury Railway Museum in Connecticut.
