Passengers using The Ride must maintain an account with the MBTA in order to pay for service. Fares are $3.35 for "ADA trips" originating within 3 ⁄ 4 mile (1.2 km) of fixed-route bus or subway service and booked in advance, and $5.60 for "premium trips" outside the mandated area.
The booked service allowed two options of fees.
