Changi Airport Terminal 5 MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) and Cross Island Line (CRL). It will serve the future Changi Airport Terminal 5 (T5).
On 25 May 2019, LTA confirmed that it will extend the Thomson–East Coast Line from Sungei Bedok to Changi Airport Terminal 5. Construction works to extend the TEL to the existing Changi Airport MRT station, which is a terminal station of the East West MRT line commenced in 2020.
Meanwhile, airport officials have already revealed plans for Terminal 5, which is expected to open to travelers in the mid-2030s. More details on that project here.
