WhatsApp Web is a browser-based client that allows you to use WhatsApp on your computer without downloading or installing any additional software. To use WhatsApp Web, you simply need to visit the WhatsApp Web website on your browser, scan a QR code with your phone, and you'll be logged into your WhatsApp account on your computer. WhatsApp ...
Here's how we can do it: Spread the Word: Share this post with friends, family, and other WhatsApp users on Android. The more people we have on board, the stronger our voice becomes. Send Feedback: Use the in-app feedback option within WhatsApp to express our desire for a full dark mode.
I just installed WhatsApp Desktop, and couldn't disable the automatic sending whenever I pressed "Enter". I could have used "Shift+Enter", but my typing is so automatic that it wouldn't work. AutoHotkey to the rescue. This script automatically replaces "Enter" with "Shift+Enter" in WhatsApp Desktop, and only in WhatsApp Desktop: I then replaced ...
EDIT2: all users were forced into multi-device so that means everyone will be subjected to the lack of proper link preview. Currently the web client does provide a link preview but it only contains the link itself which is useless. For those who can, install the native desktop client apps since those can provide proper link previews.
Reinstalled Whatsapp, both on desktop and mobile. Tried to manually delete the files in my PC too, but Whatsapp only offers the Microsoft Store version one, there's no longer a direct download option. Besides, since it's a WinStore app, the files seems to be protected and I can't delete/access them manually.
The best solution is to open Whatsapp web in Google Chrome. Then go to the 3 dot menu -> Save and Share -> Install Whatsapp Web. This saves the Whatsapp web as an individual application that will have its own dock icon and work exactly as the old Whatsapp. Give it a try, it's a great solution. (75) Leopold80.
Reset WhatsApp Web recently, been seeing low/fair CPU usage since. There were a few pop-ups asking for permissions, denied them all. In particular, one asked to "allow background sync for better performance", the better performance part makes it a likely culprit for me. So maybe try changing site settings (usually under the "lock" symbol in ...
The feature has been removed and now whatapp web is useless without it. I mean the whole purpose of a web version is to use the app without the phone but that's not the case here. Im handicapped without the broadcast whatsapp feature. Using the phone is a time consuming process. Wonder what was the need to remove it from whatsapp web.
WhatsApp Desktop may work properly. Looking at the "Added Security" symbol in your browser address bar, it's because you have enabled "Enhanced Security Mode" in edge://settings/privacy and set it to "Strict" mode. It's likely Whatsapp Web uses WebAssembly. Therefore, you will either need to change the global mode to "Basic" or "Balanced ...
My google account language is English, my system language is English, my chrome language is English, but whatsapp web keeps showing in my native language and I can't find an option that changes it. It used to be in English just like everything else, maybe it was an update or something, but now it's not anymore.
