Los Angeles Metro Debuts Ride-Share Service, New Bus Routes - Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles will roll out the first phase of its NextGen Bus Plan and its Metro Micro ride-sharing service Sunday.
It consists of six lines: four light rail lines (the A, C, E and K lines) and two rapid transit lines (the B and D lines), serving a total of 101 stations. The system connects with the Metro Busway bus rapid transit system (the G and J lines), the Metrolink commuter rail system, as well as several Amtrak lines.
There are currently two lines serving 29 stations (not including street stops) in the system: the G Line in the San Fernando Valley, and the J Line, serving El Monte, Downtown Los Angeles, Gardena, and San Pedro.
