This is a list of world records for Masters age groups in the sport of road running.The world governing body for masters athletics is World Masters Athletics (WMA). WMA conducts various world championships in what are called "non stadia" events, meaning races not held in the confines of a stadium.

Starting at age 35, each age group starts on the athlete's birthday in years that are evenly divisible by 5 and extends until the next such occurrence.

She is a three-time winner of the London Marathon (2002, 2003, 2005), three-time New York Marathon champion (2004, 2007, 2008), the 2002 Chicago Marathon winner and the 2005 World Champion in the Marathon from Helsinki.
The criteria which must be satisfied for ratification of a world record are defined by World Athletics in Part III of the Competition Rules. [1] These criteria also apply to national or other restricted records and also to performances submitted as qualifying marks for eligibility to compete in major events such as the Olympic Games.
