Turks and Caicos Islands Community College. Turks and Caicos Islands Community College ( TCICC) is a community college in the Turks and Caicos, a British territory in the Caribbean. It has two campuses with one each in Grand Turk and Providenciales. [1] It opened on 18 September 1994 due to a statute that took in effect on the 2nd of that month.
In 2009–2010 TCI had a 24% graduation rate and a 34.9% loan default rate, earning it the title from USA Today news as a "red flag school". It is not uncommon for for-profit colleges to have high rates of student loan default, which prompted a New York City Department of Consumer Affairs investigation in 2015.
