Kingsborough Houses-Kingsborough Extension, also known as Kingsborough Houses, is a 15.97-acre housing project in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. It is bordered by Ralph and Rochester Avenues, and Pacific and Bergen Streets. The project consists of 16, six-story buildings with 1,148 apartment units.

The Codex Kingsborough, also known as the Codex Tepetlaoztoc, is a 16th-century Mesoamerican pictorial manuscript detailing the history of Tepetlaoztoc and abuse of the indigenous Tepetlaoztoc population by the Spanish encomenderos who took control after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. It is in the collections of the British Museum.
Leon M. Goldstein (died January 8, 1999) was a college administrator, President of Kingsborough Community College, and acting Chancellor of the City University of New York.
The planning was begun in 2008 on the initiative of CUNY's Chancellor at the time, Matthew Goldstein. The planning phase was supported by CUNY funds, an initial allocation $8.9 million from the City of New York's annual budget, and donations from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Michael Bloomberg's Center for Economic Opportunity.
