Hugh Thomas (choral conductor) Joseph Hugh Thomas was an American choral conductor, pianist and educator, perhaps best remembered for his role as conductor of the Concert Choir of Birmingham–Southern College (BSC), a liberal arts college located in Birmingham, Alabama.
