Matanuska-Susitna Valley ( / mætəˈnuːskə suːˈsɪtnə /) (known locally as the Mat-Su or The Valley) is an area in Southcentral Alaska south of the Alaska Range about 35 miles (56 km) north of Anchorage, Alaska.
