Hunts Point station is a planned passenger rail station on Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, to be located in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City. The station is planned to open in 2027 as part of the Penn Station Access project, which will add four stations in the Bronx.

Parkchester/Van Nest station is a planned passenger rail station on the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, to be located within Bronx Community Board 11 in Van Nest and just north of the Parkchester neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City.
The bond issue passed, and the MTA was set to take over the NYCTA in 1968. The night before December 31, 1967, the NYCTA and the TWU made an agreement to avoid a strike. The deal gave NYCTA workers the ability to retire with about half-pay after twenty years if the employee was over fifty years old.
In June 2017, the Town of Fishkill requested a portion of Metro-North's property to build and operate a multi-use trail from New York State Route 9D to the Hudson Line. It would run from the Breakneck Ridge Trailhead before running north to the pedestrian overpass that provides access to the inbound side of Metro-North's Breakneck Ridge station.
This new capacity, as well as track connections resulting from the East Side Access project, allows Metro-North Railroad trains on the New Haven Line to run to Penn Station via Amtrak's Hell Gate Bridge.
