CityLink Red (abbreviated RD) is a MTA BaltimoreLink bus route operated by the Maryland Transit Administration in Baltimore and its suburbs. The line currently runs from the University of Maryland Transit Center to the Lutherville Light Rail Stop along the corridors of York Road and Greenmount Avenue, and is the most heavily used MTA bus line. The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is a state-operated mass transit administration in Maryland, and is part of the Maryland Department of Transportation.The MTA operates a comprehensive transit system throughout the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area.
The MTA has installed retail spaces within paid areas in selected stations, including the station concourses of the Times Square–Port Authority complex, the 59th Street–Columbus Circle station, and the 47th–50th Streets–Rockefeller Center station. [69] In the 1980s, the MTA operated around 350 retail spaces in the subway system. [69]
Old Court Bus Lines was a service that provided van transport in northwest Baltimore County. [9] Its lines served places including Stevenson and Villa Julie College.These services have been provided by MTA since 1973, though much of them have been cut back or modified.
