The latest version of the MTA app (formerly known as MYmta) makes it easier than ever to get details on subway, bus, and railroad service—straight from the source. You can plan a trip, see your train’s arrival time, get service alerts for your route, or find your bus in real time.
To apply for a test online, you will need to create an account at www.mymta.info/exams. Once you find the exam you want to apply for, follow the instructions onscreen. You can find more information about the process in our Online Application Guide.

Mail&Ride tickets can be accessed through the MTA TrainTime app. Tickets will appear in your ticket wallet around the 25th of the month or the first business day after the 25th.
New users can log in with Apple, Google, or by text message. If you have been using an account created in the former MTA eTix app from before August 2022, use the same username and password to retrieve your existing tickets. Buy your ticket before you travel.
