A salary statement, commonly called a payslip, pay stub, paystub, pay advice, or sometimes paycheck stub or wage slip, is a document received by an employee that either includes a notice that the direct deposit transaction has gone through or that is attached to the paycheck.
Please refer to Wikipedia:Stub and WP:WSS for information regarding stub creation and, especially, sorting. The Stub Makers are Wikipedians whose primary existence in Wikipedia is to create stubs. This may encourage new articles when others are unhappy with the stub and decide to expand it.
This page provides a general guide for dealing with stubs: the first section, Basic information, contains information that is recommended for most users; and the second section, Creating stub types, contains more specialized material.
A pay stub contains all your income information, so it’s a great tool for tracking your salary, the taxes you’ve paid, insurance premium amounts, bonus information and vacation and overtime pay.
Expand a stub article. Stubs are very short articles that need to be expanded. A fellow Wikipedian may have started the page but only added minimal details. Expanding stubs by including more information and citations is important because it prevents these pages from being deleted and means readers can find out more.
Give them a head start. Wikipedia is consistently in the top of Google searches, so making stubs also helps attract other editors who are familiar with that topic. Do not feel compelled to create all these stubs on the same day. If it is a lot of work, you can do it gradually at your own pace.
