Saskatchewan (/ s ə ˈ s k æ tʃ (ə) w ə n / ⓘ sə-SKATCH-(ə-)wən, Canadian French: [saskatʃəˈwan]) is a province in Western Canada.It is bordered on the west by Alberta, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the east by Manitoba, to the northeast by Nunavut, and to the south by the United States (Montana and North Dakota).
Students receiving a Canada Student Loan (CSL) for the first time on or after August 1, 1995, are eligible for up to 340 weeks (~6.5 years) of interest-free status on their loan balance. Students in doctoral programs are eligible for an additional 60 weeks, up to 400 weeks (~7.5 years).
