The Aviation program at Mount Allison is one of only a few in Canada that allows you to earn an undergraduate degree that incorporates flight and ground school training. In 1997, under the direction of Brad Mundle, a two-year Diploma in Aviation Technology was created and the organization changed its name to the Moncton Flight College.
Born in Hamilton, Bermuda, the son of building contractor and land developer Ernest Motyer and Edith Brunning, he was educated at Saltus Grammar School and later (1942–1945) studied English literature at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.
At Mount Allison, he was a two time all conference player (1996-1997), and voted on the second All Canadian team in 1997. He also earned the 1997 Atlantic Conference Best defensive player award, losing the President's trophy (CIAU defensive player of the year award) to Jason Van Geel of the University of Waterloo.
Johnson created Netvvrk to support mid-career artists. Netvvrk includes a membership portal that allows artists to communicate with a community of peers, access a curriculum addressing the needs of creative small business owners, receive online artist mentoring, participate in workshops, connect with prominent arts professionals, and engage in critical art review.
