1. Launch AOL Desktop Gold. 2. On the sign on screen, click the small arrow pointing down. 3. Click Add Username. 4. Type in another username and click Continue.Enter your password in the window that appears.

If you previously entered an email address when signing up for the account or in your Preferences, and you still have access to that email account, and you did not tick the preference checkbox "Send password reset emails only when both email address and username are provided", then you can go to the login screen and click 'Reset your password'.
Additionally, if your email isn't missing, but going straight to an unexpected folder, it may the normal outcome of using IMAP to access your mail. IMAP syncs your email regardless of where you use it, which means emails will be sorted based on the client's specifications. Check to see if your account been deactivated for inactivity
