During his years at Mount Allison he was also actively involved with the RCAF Squadron (1953–1963), where he organized and conducted winter training programs and served as commanding officer (1961–1963). He retired from teaching in the Spring of 1980.

Allison is an unincorporated community in Bryan County, Oklahoma, United States. [1] It is located seven miles south of Durant , and had a post office from March 6, 1901, to December 15, 1921. [ 2 ] Allison was named after the nearby Mount Allison school.
