The Mapua Institute of Technology Sword & Castle Alumni Association, Incorporated (MITSCAAI) is an affiliate alumni association of National Association of Mapua Alumni (NAMA). Graduates of all schools and departments including high school and Advance ROTC automatically become members of NAMA on their graduation day.

April 10, 2008 marked an event for Malayan Colleges Laguna, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mapua Institute of Technology, and Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc., one of the country’s largest crew management companies, as they launched the Mapúa-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training.
Māpua is a small town in the South Island of New Zealand. It is to the west of Nelson on State Highway 60 and on the coastline of Tasman Bay.. With a thriving wharf and commercial area, Māpua has grown in popularity for visitors, with numbers swelling the region over the summer months.
