The New York City Marathon, currently branded as the TCS New York City Marathon for sponsorship reasons, is an annual marathon (42.195 km or 26.219 mi) that courses through the five boroughs of New York City. It is the largest marathon in the world, with 53,627 finishers in 2019 and 98,247 applicants for the 2017 race.
While certain qualifications for the 2024 New York City Marathon are not available anymore, there are still some ways to register.
In total, 35 men and 30 women have won the open division of the New York City Marathon, while nine men and seven women have won the wheelchair division.
