Although Bryant College occupied the Howard building in 1863, the two schools are not to be confused. Scholfield's was a competitor of Bryant, and by 1882 Bryant was located in the Hoppin Homestead Building down Westminster Street. There have been four Howard Buildings on the site. Twice it burned down.
Bryant is a census-designated place (CDP) in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,870 at the 2010 census . A post office called Bryant was established in 1893, and remained in operation until 1954. [3] The community most likely took its name from the Bryant Lumber and Shingle Company.
