Leggett (formerly Leggett Valley) is a census-designated place in Mendocino County, California, United States. It is located on the South Fork of the Eel River, 21 miles (34 km) by road northwest of Laytonville, at an elevation of 984 ft (300 m). It is home to some of the largest trees in the world.
