The Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD or DISD) is a school district based in Dallas, Texas . It operates schools in much of Dallas County and is the second-largest school district in Texas and the seventeenth-largest in the United States.
Dallas ISD and Parkland Balch Springs Youth & Family Health Center is on a site next to the school building, on the school property. It serves disadvantaged children who do not have primary care physicians. Previously the center was known as the Spruce Youth and Family Health Center and housed on the grounds of H. Grady Spruce High.
