The G operates at all times between Court Square in Long Island City, Queens, and Church Avenue in Kensington, Brooklyn. [15] In the 1950s, the MTA ran new subway extensions, while the last two streetcar lines running into the Pleasant Street Portal of the Tremont Street Subway were substituted with buses in 1953 and 1962.
