Los Angeles Metro Bus is the transit bus service in Los Angeles County, California operated by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). In 2023, the system had a ridership of 222,919,700, or about 723,100 per weekday as of the fourth quarter of 2023.
There are currently two lines serving 29 stations (not including street stops) in the system: the G Line in the San Fernando Valley, and the J Line, serving El Monte, Downtown Los Angeles, Gardena, and San Pedro. As of September 2019, Metro has the third largest bus fleet in North America with 2,320 buses.
