The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) is the public transit operator serving Flint, Michigan and surrounding Genesee County. It also owns and operates the inter-modal Flint station, which also serves Amtrak and Indian Trails.
MARTA also operates Mobility, a separate paratransit service for disabled customers. In 2023, the entire system (bus and subway lines) had 64,306,800 rides, or about 202,600 per weekday in the fourth quarter of 2023. MARTA's first bus rapid transit (BRT) line is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in Summer 2025.
