The Houston Community College System Foundation was founded in 1976 to provide scholarships to Houston Community College students and to support the college's efforts to attract and educate Houston-area students—including many non-traditional students and those facing barriers to higher education.

Northline Transit Center/HCC station is a station on METRORail Red Line in Houston. It is the northern terminus of the Red Line. It services the Northline Transit Center, located on the west side of the street and the Houston Community College Northline Campus. Outside of weekdays, it is the busiest station on the Red Line.
Founded in 1935, Dodge City Community College was located on the third floor of the Senior High School Building at 1601 First Avenue, for 22 years. By 1957, it had grown large enough to require a move to a different location, at 1000 Second Avenue.
