Bryant & Stratton College (informally Bryant & Stratton or simply BSC) is a private college with campuses in New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, as well as an online education division. [3] Founded in 1854, the college offers associate degree and bachelor's degree programs.
This separate chain of schools is currently called Bryant & Stratton College. In 1878 the Providence branch of Bryant & Stratton was sold to a teacher at the school, Thomas Stowell. Stowell died in 1916 the school was sold again and merged with Henry Jacobs' Rhode Island Commercial School (founded 1898). [5]

Upon returning to the United States, Arthur finished his schooling at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in Buffalo and then attended Bryant and Stratton College. [2] Career [ edit ]
John C. Bryant served as president of the Buffalo Bryant and Stratton Business College from 1860 until he died in 1901. After Henry Bryant's death, John sold all of his interest in the schools, but the one in Buffalo. He died on November 6, 1901, in Buffalo, New York. [2] [3]
Henry Dwight Stratton (1824–1867) was an author and co-founder and namesake of Bryant & Stratton College. Henry Dwight Stratton was born on August 24, 1824, in Amherst, Ohio, and attended the public schools in Amherst and then attended Oberlin College.
