Supports quality engineering in investigating supplier and assembly issues and may recommend corrective measures. Records and recommends preliminary disposition of nonconforming material in an electronic system. Identifies and helps to support implementation of improvements to safety, efficiency, and quality. With input from engineering, develops inspection instructions for complex fabricated parts and assemblies. Ability to work under general guidance from management. Maintain inspection records for review. Mentors other QA staff in inspection techniques and procedures Supports other activities such as the calibration program, internal audits, or safety program. Key Qualifications: Associate degree in engineering or related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience with quality inspection of complex fabricated parts.
