We stayed for one night but I wished we could have stayed longer. The indoor and outdoor pool options were great. The outside space with pool and park-like vibe in the center of the square building gives a “campus” vibe. Very neat! The staff was so friendly!
I also liked that there was a map to show access points and rear parking closer to our hotel room.
I loved the attached bar and was jealous I didn’t get to join in on karaoke (had to be up early). I wondered how the noise level would be but even with a karaoke bar and an adult prom with loud music, we heard nothing once in the room.

We enjoyed a delicious and filling meal at Sickies Garage Diner near our motel. Thankfully, staff retrieved and placed in their safe the motel keys that slipped from my pocket while dining, allowing me to retrieve them with a quick return trip.

Please do your homework in the hotels you select.
Please do your homework in the hotels you select. I selected the super eight by Wyndham. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my whole life. It was just nasty smell of mold right when you walk in the door when I got to my room there was blood on the carpet holes in the bathroom wall. The shower wall was falling apart the fridge had a nasty odor there was a bar in my window to keep it closed so no one could break in because of lock and work on it and I was on the first floor. They advertised a really nice looking pool in their pictures but the pool was drained. It look like a storage closet and reading comments on this hotel the pool has been out of commission for a long time, but they still advertise it as being up and running. The staff is Indian and I had a hard time communicating with them because of their broken English. Once you check into your room, you don’t see them anymore it’s like they went home. They leave a number for you to call if you need them, and when I called it like four times, no one would answer, I can’t believe the health department hasn’t shut this place down there’s literally mold, growing inside the light fixture in my bathroom, and I kept on waking up all night scratch and thinking they were bedbugs on me. Do not go here. This place should be put out of business. Thanks, Michael Kay from Chicago.

My favourite "small town big city" So small that it's easy to get to anything within 10 minutes, so full of everything that you need, that it feels like a big city. We always feel at home in Fargo, and look forward to coming back.

Convenient to access the shopping areas we wanted.
Convenient to access the shopping areas we wanted. We were at several different retail and eating establishments and encountered very kind and pleasant serving personnel.
West Acres Mall is always a favorite of mine! There are many great shops away from the mall as well.
Suppers at: HuHot, Mangos, Crooked Pint
Afternoon coffee at: Babbs Cafe in Moorhead
Breakfast at the hotel (Country Inn & Suites) - excellent breakfast!
Did some antique hunting as well. Great finds!!

This is a great town.
This is a great town. It's small enough to cover and drive around if you have a day. It also has beautiful cobbled streets with a unique charm like your visiting a scene from the movies (Fargo). It's true. Definitely spend more time and visit the plain arts gallery, drive downtown and spend some time at the local restaurants. The food is delicious. We will definitely come back, as there is so much to do.

Fargo is a nice, University town.
Fargo is a nice, University town. The Air and Space museum was nice. Great pizza downtown at the Black Bird. I would think that if you were not part of the university, winters would be pretty long and boring.
The staff was wonderful, talented, hard-working and funny!
The hotel is a big, mostly single story open square. Inside the square is a huge, pretty, open air, almost park-like garden area.
The complimentary breakfast was buffet style and better than most.
The rooms were comfortable although worn and dated. The bed was quite comfortable.
There are excellent restaurants nearby. My favorite was Dolittle's: Great food, good wine list, RIEDEL wine glasses! Ask to see the automated glass polisher machine. ;-)
The breakfast seemed good for whatever that was left (only had a couple of egg pucks and bacon). I went near the end of breakfast but the hotel was packed with kids on some sort of tournament. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
I really liked that the hotel allowed us to park at the hotel for 2 weeks and shuttled us (ordered and paid for a taxi) to the airport for free. These are impressive perks that give this particular location high marks.
It was definitely an elevated level of stay. We enjoyed how all the amenities were so close to hotel as well on the property. The staff was inviting as soon as walked in to check-in. Pool was great place for our kids to burn their energy. We liked hotel store selections. The breakfasts hours made it easy and convenient to grab a bit to eat in morning. Oh boy, Porter Creek next door with room service, yes please! Delicious!
Staff were amazing! Kayla, the manager, was extraordinary! She was a great communicator, excellent at validating concerns and rectified situations very quickly. And....she worked alot that weekend, as it was very busy and she knew the staff needed breaks. Top notch way to supervise and run a "well oiled" hotel.
Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great!
I liked everything. I enjoyed the interior of the hotel and the balcony in the room I stayed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool helped to release stress after a long drive. There are few hot tubs to relax. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. This is a wonderful hotel to stay.
The amenities at the hotel are good, the location in Fargo is good (close to shopping, restaurants, easy access to freeways). The staff was friendly and accommodated our request for room location. The price was right too! All in all a very positive experience.
Breakfast was terrible and we wanted reception staff to order a taxi to the airport and he sad that they dont do that so we had to get an Uber ourselvs and hurry to the airport.
I will strongly not recomend this hotel ,sorry its just no good.
The room was clean. Good water pressure in the bathroom. The hotel itself was quiet, though there was a lot of noise coming from the parking lot outside our window. The air conditioning worked well.
Love the location and hotel. Being within walking distance of a couple of local pubs is a nice little treat. and only 10-15 minutes from just about anything in Fargo and Morehead.
We didn't expect to be in Fargo, but our camper broke down. What an amazing La Quinta. My son is wanting to move to Fargo for this hotel. Fun waterslide for the kids.
The location of the hotel is good. Also it has a good price. The room I accomodated has a coffee machine and the heater was well enough to make the room comfortable.
