Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service.
The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well.
We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin. Delicious!

The staff were people of color and the manger was black.
The staff were people of color and the manger was black. For the area it's was actually very well kept. I love you see my people in lead position. Bathroom was nasty but everything has at least one shortcoming.

attended Wild hockey game and everything there was excellent. Very courteous employees. Beautiful city with good restaurant choices. Easy to get around.
The Skywalk was a bit unnerving as about 5 minutes into our walk from hotel towards Xcel Energy Center, we encountered several "loiterers" enjoying their drugs, goofing around, partially blocking walkways. There was very little walking traffic and no sort of security that we saw. After 5 minutes we exited the Skywalk and walked the streets. This took place on a Saturday late morning and might be totally different on a weekday

Within walking distance to the hotel was a lovely park with an unexpected Thursday night concert. Food trucks, beer area and live music. Wonderful for a summer evening. Saint Paul Summit Street has lovely mansions and takes you by the Basilica. A nice laid back city.

There is so much to see & do in the twin cities .... Because of the pandemic there were restrictions but public transportation posted changes and both the train and bus are affordable and frequent I just wish I had some one to help with which bus I needed to catch & what time they run & wish bus & train tickets enterchanged
The hotel was emaculate. The staff- impeccable. I dont say that lightly. Shuttle to Xcel for The Cure Concert, Thurs June 8th, Enjoyable. We didn't need to Uber, etc...
We ate at Peddlers (the restaurant at the hotel). The Pork Chop entree was well prepared. My fiance had the Meatloaf- better than "Mom's"
Enjoyed relaxing in the pool area whirlpool. We were the only ones there twice!
It's not often a hotel exceeds your expectations. We've traveled extensively. This hotel did!~M
I was in town for a Minnesota Wild game and I was looking for a place to stay for the night and this hotel completely exceeded my expectations!! It had an excellent view of the Mississippi River and downtown St Paul!!The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was super clean and comfortable. The next time I decide to stay the night in downtown St Paul after a Minnesota Wild game this will be my go to every time, highly recommended to everyone!!
At first it was about having a different atmosphere besides an hotel, trying something different but at the end it felt more homey, truly, the house reminded of my grandparents house, 90% of it was nearly like it. It was warm, quant, simple but beautiful and we all loved the aura of it. It was a perfect ladies weekend and a chance for us to connect and reset from life even a short time.
Thank you!!!
The free breakfast was excellent and there were lots of choices. The hotel is clean with comfy beds and fresh white linens. We had a king size bed and a sofa bed for my kids separated by the minibar and bathroom on the other side. There are two large TV as well. The friendly front desk staff was helpful and welcoming.
Friendly staff, clean rooms. Free Shuttle which ran from 7 am to 11 pm, if traveling within 10 miles from hotel. Coffee out at 4 am every morning with a wide choices of creamers. Clean laundry room, fitness center. Good quality stay with soft beds.
The location of the hotel was good for me. I've been there before, so returning there.
Parking under the hotel is convenient. Close to some places in St Paul.
Gym is basic and nice.
I like that that there were some rooms with bigger bathrooms. Also, I like the fact that there were a lot of food area near the hotel, didn’t have to travel far.
That the hotel was remodeled the rooms were nice the pool was super clean and the staff was cool and that they have security at night who actually does his job
I like the hotel that was an old train depot. Nice swimming pool. My boys loved it. Has hot breakfast. Close to relatives at St. Paul and Falcon heights.
